Ventsislav Karadjov
Deputy Chair, European Data Protection Board
Ventsislav Karadjov is Chairman of the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection since April 2014.
In addition, after having served for two terms as Vice-Chair of the Article 29 Working Party, he was elected unanimously as Vice-Chairman of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) in 2018.
Previously, Mr Karadjov has held various senior legal and management positions for international institutions such as the European Commission, the US Agency for International Development, the OSCE and the UN Development Programme.
He has also served as an Advisor to the Minister for Internal Affairs and as Chief Expert Associate to the 41st and 42nd Bulgarian National Assembly.
