Rachael Gallagher

Rachael is a Privacy Policy Manager EMEA in Meta where she works on youth privacy issues and manages external stakeholder relationships in the EMEA region. Previously, Rachael worked in Deloitte Ireland’s Data Privacy Team where she worked on GDPR implementation programmes for large multi-national companies. Prior to this Rachael was a Senior Policy Officer with the UK data protection authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) where she was responsible for advising organisations on compliance with data protection law, identifying systematic practices that failed to deliver positive information rights outcomes for individuals and helping to propose solutions
