Ysabelle graduated in 2018 with a Master in Business Management at the Louvain School of Management in Louvain-La-Neuve.

She is a technology enthusiast, this is why she dedicated her joint Master thesis (Summa cum laude) to this trendy topic.

After a year in the private sector and after having been offered the opportunity to do a PhD about the human-machine interaction, she decided to become a Digital Economist working on new and emerging technologies for the public administration.

Since 2019, Ysabelle is working for the Federal Public Service Economy, the Belgian Ministry of Economy.

In 2020, she coordinated the organisation of an event to raise the awareness of the public and private stakeholders about the importance of the data economy with high level speakers, at both national and European levels.

She worked closely with stakeholders to build a strong collaboration through among others the launch of the national and cross-sectoral Women in Digital strategy and ad-hoc working group in 2021-2022.

She coordinated the Belgian negotiations around the European Regulation Data Governance Act (DGA) in 2021-2023 and since the establishment of the European Data Innovation Board (EDIB), she has been appointed main Belgian representative to the EDIB.
