Zoe Kardasiadou

Legal and Policy Officer, Data Protection Unit, DG JUST, European Commission

Zoe Kardasiadou is working as legal and policy officer for the European Commission, at the Data Protection Unit of DG JUST. Before her current position, she worked at the EDPB, EDPS and the EU Fundamental Rights Agency. Zoe also worked for 10 years at the Greek data protection authority and headed the Department for policy and supervision. Zoe is a lawyer by education and has worked in the field of ICT law and data protection law. Her doctoral thesis addressed issues of product liability and medical malpractice in relation to expert systems.
