Emőke Péter is the Group Head of Public and Regulatory Affairs at Worldline, where she drives sustainable digital transformation of payments across the EU and globally, shaping the future of money and technology through policies. She is Executive Advisory Board Member of Vixio Regulatory Intelligence, Board member of Brussels Binder and an expert in the European Commission's Payment Systems Market Expert Group (PSMEG).

Prior to that, Emőke worked in the European Parliament, and served 6 years in the Juncker & Von der Leyen Commissions, overseeing headline policy priorities "Europe fit for digital age" and "A new push for European democracy". She holds an B.A. & a M.A. in diplomacy & EU Governmental Affairs, and she graduated this year the HULT EF Executive Educations 21’st Century Leadership Academy. Her leadership and strategic acumen have garnered significant recognition in Europe, including her recent nomination as Head of Governmental Affairs of the Year within the Global Regulatory Awards 2024, her nomination to the “Women Who Advance Associations 2024” by the Boardroom Magazine and her feature in the EU Insider 2024 Influencer list “Who to Follow: Money & Commerce”.
